One Person Is Dead And Two Others Left Injured After Georgetown Co. Crash

The driver of the Honda died from their injuries while the passenger was hurt and taken to a hospital.

A crash in Georgetown County resulted in the death of one person and left two others injured.

The incident occurred along Highway 17 near Highway 17 Business shortly after 6pm Sunday evening.

A 2011 Honda Accord was traveling west and a 2023 Subaru Outback was heading north when the two collided.

The driver of the Honda died from their injuries while the passenger was hurt and taken to a hospital.

The driver of the Subaru was also injured and transported to a hospital.

Neither of their condition statuses are known at this time.

The identities of those involved have also not been released.

An investigation is underway.
