Possibility Of Five-Story Parking Garage Proposed For Myrtle Beach Hospital

A hospital along the Grand Strand could be getting a new amenity.

The possibility of a five-story parking garage was discussed during the Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board meeting Thursday.

An architecture firm presented designs to the board with intentions of adding it to the Grand Strand Medical Center.

The 260,000-square-foot garage would sit between the main entrance and a prominent cell tower entrance.

Project teams are working to finalize details and once all have been approved by the community appearance board, it will be presented to the city council for approval.
