Crash In Florence County Results In The Death Of One Bicyclist

Just after 9:30pm Tuesday night police responded to a crash along Highway 76 near Timmonsville.

One person is dead following an incident in Florence County.

Just after 9:30pm Tuesday night police responded to a crash along Highway 76 near Timmonsville.

A 2012 GMC SUV was heading west while a bicyclist was traveling east. Both struck each other on the roadway.

The bicyclist died from the injuries they sustained. Their identity has not been released.

The driver of the SUV was the only occupant and was not injured.
