Police Search For Man Wanted In Connection To Robbery/Shooting Incident

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man wanted in connection to a robbery and shooting incident.

On July 2, police responded to a residence on Lewis Farm Road in Shannon on reports of an individual shot.

35-year-old James Chavis Jr. (Boo Boo) is wanted for attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree kidnapping and more.

An investigation is still underway and anyone with information on Chavis’ whereabouts is asked to contact Robeson County authorities.
