One person was injured during a shooting incident that occurred in Lumberton Tuesday night.

The shootout between several people took place around 8pm. It unfolded in the parking lot of the Dollar General located along Caton Road.

The injured victim was found in the parking lot with a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital for treatment. He has since been released and is expected to be ok.
