Costco To Raise Membership Fees For First Time In Seven Years
The rise will impact around 52 million memberships which is a little over half of which are Executive.
Costco announced it is making changes to it’s membership fees.
The retail giant said starting on September 1, “Gold Star” memberships will see an increase in price go up from $60 to $65. “Executive Membership” fees will now cost $130 which is a $10 increase.
The membership’s maximum annual 2% reward will also increase from $1,000 to $1,250.
This marks the first time Costco has hiked it’s membership prices since 2017.
