Millions Of “Make It Mini” Toy Sets Recalled
The products contain resin that, when in liquid form, can cause skin, eye and respiratory irritation or sensitization when inhaled, touched, or ingested.
MGA Entertainment has placed a recall on nearly 22 million “Make it Mini” toy sets.
The recall covers 38 sets under the brand including the “Make it Mini Appliances,” all models and series of “Make it Mini Food” and “Make it Mini Lifestyle.”
The products contain resin that, when in liquid form, can cause skin, eye and respiratory irritation or sensitization when inhaled, touched, or ingested.
The resins contain chemical agents in amounts prohibited in children’s products by the “Federal Hazardous Substances Act.”
The company has received 26 reports of injury including skin burns as well as respiratory irritation. One in which a person’s asthma was triggered.
The toys were sold nationwide at retailers including Target, Walmart, Dollar General, and more.
Consumers should stop use immediately and contact MGA for a replacement or refund.
