Ruby Frances Patterson

Ruby Frances Patterson, age 87 of Vass, NC passed away at her home on Thursday, October 21, 2010. She was born on September 3, 1923 in Moore Co., NC to the late Grady Norton and Leila Wright Norton. She is survived by three daughters: Donna Godwin and husband Ted of Selma, NC; Sharon Salmon and husband James of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Kay Blakely and husband Bob of Vass, NC. She is also survived by three sons: Garland Patterson of Wagram, NC; Mike Patterson of Vass, NC; and Marvin Wayne Patterson of Kentucky; one brother, Eugene Norton of West End, NC and two sisters: Emma Lee Newberry of Aberdeen, NC and Dot Wicker of Virginia. 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren also survive her. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Cameron with Rev.Bill Davis officiating.
