Krispy Kreme will be handing out one free donut of choice with no purchase necessary. However, special, or “limited edition” doughnuts are not part of this promotion.

Customers could also snag a dozen original glazed donuts for just $2 with the purchase of another full-priced dozen at participating locations.

The deal will be offered only on Friday in honor of National Doughnut Day, which Krispy Kreme celebrates every year.
