Inlet Square Mall Demolition To Soon Begin

Paramount plans to turn it into a 250,000-square-foot mixed-use development that will include retail shops, restaurants and hotels.

Paramount Development Corporation bought the property last year for $6 million.

The premises was formerly a 500,000-square-foot enclosed mall.

Demolition of the property is set to start on Wednesday.

Belk and Planet Fitness will stay open during the demolition and construction process, which should take around 90 to 120 days.

It was said, the priorities include protecting structures that that will remain, keeping the parking lot lit and protecting the surrounding environment.
