Severe Storms Across Parts Of The U.S. Left At Least 22 People Dead

At least eight people died in Arkansas, seven in Texas, five in Kentucky and two in Oklahoma after tornadoes and strong winds demolished hundreds of homes.

Over the weekend, an abundance of severe storms broke out across four states resulting in at least 22 deaths.

Parts of Texas and the mid-south are attempting to assess and adjust after the devastating storms.

At least eight people died in Arkansas, seven in Texas, five in Kentucky and two in Oklahoma after tornadoes and strong winds demolished hundreds of homes. Meanwhile, a rancher in Colorado and 34 of his cattle died in a lightning strike.

Over 280,000 homes and businesses were without power as of Monday night, most ranging from Missouri and Arkansas to the west stretching to Virginia and Georgia to the east. Kentucky had by far the most outages with over 98,000 reports.

Stormy weather continues Tuesday including isolated severe thunderstorms.
