One Person Is Dead And Another Is Injured After Crash Involving Motorcycle

Two people were on the bike and both were transported to hospitals.

A crash involving a motorcycle left one person dead and another injured.

The accident occurred shortly before 8:30am Wednesday on Highway 544 near Tiffany Lane in Horry County.

A 2023 Harley-Davidson was traveling west on the highway and a 2016 Subaru Forester was heading south on Tiffany Lane when the two collided.

52-year-old Tara Posey of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, was the passenger of the motorcycle. She was taken to a hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The driver of the motorcycle was also transported to a hospital, their condition is unknown at this time.

The two occupants of the Subaru were not injured.
