Local Chef Featured On Food Competition Show

The chef's cooking talents earned him a spot on the latest season of the food competition show, 'Supermarket Stakeout.'

A local chef celebrated a win on the Grand Strand.

Chef Reuben Dhanawade moved to the area from Nashville last year. He currently works at ‘Local Eat Drink Celebrate’ in Pawleys Island.

The chef’s cooking talents earned him a spot on the latest season of the food competition show, ‘Supermarket Stakeout.’ On the show, contestants work to create dishes they’ve purchased from customers at a nearby market.

Dhanawade was the winner of the season six premiere episode.

A watch party was held at Tupelo Honey in the Market Common to celebrate.

Dhanawade also previously won an episode of Chopped during season 52.
