Death Of 23-Year-Old Man Being Investigated As Homicide

An autopsy was conducted and revealed sharp instrument injuries to his upper body.

Horry County police have opened an investigation into a homicide in the Green Sea area.

Shortly after 2am on Sunday, the family of 23-year-old Wismae Harris found him deceased inside their home on long Branch Swamp Road. His time of death was determined to be just after midnight the same day.

An autopsy was conducted and revealed sharp instrument injuries to his upper body.
