Shirley Funderburk Redmond

Shirley Funderburk Redmond, age 60, of Lexington , died Monday, October 18, 2010. Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Edward‘s Chapel, Society Hill with visitation immediately following the service. Mrs. Redmond was born in Chesterfield County, daughter of the late Abraham “Abe” and Moease Gainey Funderburk . She was a graduate of Cheraw High School and was a former administrative assistant with SLED Arson Control. She was a member of Edwards Chapel Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Pete Redmond of Lexington; four sisters, Helen F. (Dock) Winburn of Patrick, Jean Funderburk of Darlington, Pat (Edwin “Moon”) Bazen also of Darlington and Betty Sue (Johnny) Quick of Society Hill; four nephews, William Winburn, Chris Quick, John Quick, II, and Jeff Chandler; and three nieces, Teresa Leonard, Tammy Austin and Sierra Quick.
