One Arrest Made In Connection To Georgetown Co. Shooting
Witnesses informed investigators that there was a confrontation and someone in a car fired shots into a house and vehicle.
An arrest has been made in connection to a shooting in Georgetown County early Friday morning.
Around 12:30am an exchange of gunfire occurred on Exodus Drive in the Plantersville Community.
Witnesses informed investigators that there was a confrontation and someone in a car fired shots into a house and vehicle. The resident of the home then returned fire with a shotgun and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Georgetown officers later arrested Savion Grimmage at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital after he was treated for gunshot wounds. He is detained on pending charges at this time.
An investigation is still underway and anyone with information is asked to contact Georgetown County authorities.
