Parents are advised to remove the Yoto Mini from children’s reach immediately, but recalled units do not need to be discarded.

Those who own the speaker can contact Yoto to receive a free Yoto Mini smart cable, which can charge the speaker battery to a safe level.

No injuries have been reported but there have been reports of the speaker overheating or melting.

The toys were sold on-line across several retailers including Amazon and Target. They were also sold in toy and gift stores nationwide between November of 2021 and April 2024.
