Robeson Co. Police Search For Suspect Of Homicide Investigation

20-year-old Chase Locklear is wanted for first degree murder, discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle and more.

Robeson County police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a homicide investigation.

Monday afternoon, deputies responded to the 900 block of Beam Road. Upon arrival, 33-year-old Brandigan Hunt was found dead inside a vehicle.

The investigation determined that he was killed on Holly Swamp Church Road.

20-year-old Chase Locklear is wanted for first degree murder, discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle, inflicting serious bodily injury, assault by pointing a gun, and communicating threats.

Locklear is considered to be “armed and dangerous.”
