A powerful storm system Wednesday left at least three people dead and several others injured.
The storms unleashed tornadoes that ripped through towns from the South to the Ohio Valley leaving behind severe damage.
At least 16 tornadoes overall were reported across Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia.
Winds reached over 100mph in several states.
Two deaths were recorded in Pennsylvania while at least one was recorded in Kentucky.
Thousands of customers are left without power still Thursday.
