Trump Posts $175 Million Bond While He Appeals Initial Bond Amount

Donald Trump posted a $175 million bond in the New York civil fraud case against him.
The Republican candidate’s bond pauses any action that Attorney General Letitia James could take against Trump’s properties, for now.
The lower bond will stand while Trump appeals the initial $464 million verdict. He argued last month that covering the full near half-a-billion bond was not feasible.
The state appeals court is now scheduled to hear his appeal in September.
