Biden Administration Announces New Aid Package For Ukraine

The U.S. hasn't been able to pledge lethal aid to Ukraine since December.

The Biden administration announced Tuesday it will send Ukraine a new emergency aid package.

The U.S. hasn’t been able to pledge lethal aid to Ukraine since December, when it announced a package worth up to $250 million.

However, the Pentagon was able to construct the new package using credits refunded to the Defense Department for recent weapon buys.
