Public Schools Of Robeson Co. Granted $12M Check To Help Fund New Facility

The 110,000 square foot facility will have CTE courses, a new state-of-the-art culinary arts program as well as a drone technology program.

The public schools of Robeson County was presented with a $12 million check.

The funding was awarded from the needs-based public school capital fund.

The check will be used to build a new Robeson Career and Technical Education Center.

The 110,000 square foot facility will have CTE courses, a new state-of-the-art culinary arts program as well as a drone technology program. It will also be home to the new Robeson Planetarium and Science Center.

The $12 million check puts the district’s total for the facility at $72 million.
