Barbie has inspired a new flip phone that will drop this summer…and yes it’s hot pink! Human Mobile Devices, the company behind Nokia-branded smartphones is partnering with toy maker Mattel to bring Barbie’s hot pink flip phone to life. The company says flip phones are back on the rise as Gen Z and millennials choose to limit their screen time on smart phones. The company reported that in Europe, flip phone sales more than doubled from 2022 to 2023 and they expect further growth this year. Information on pricing and where to buy the new flip phone has not yet been released but it’s set to debut this summer.
