Three People Injured In Crash Involving Darlington Co. School Bus

A baseball team of 13 players and two coaches were aboard the bus at the time.

A crash involving a Darlington County school bus left three people injured Monday.

Around 4pm a Lamar High School bus was traveling along North Bethel Road near South Green Road in Florence County.

A Mini Cooper heading in the opposite direction crossed the center line and collided with the bus.

A baseball team of 13 players and two coaches were aboard the bus at the time.

Two students were taken to a hospital with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

The driver of the Mini Cooper was also transported to a hospital, their condition is unknown.

An investigation is ongoing, but it has been confirmed that the bus driver is not at fault.
