S.C. State Parks To Host Future ‘First Day Hikes’ Events

On the first day of March the hiking event will be held at the Myrtle Beach State Park.

S.C. State Parks are set to host additional ‘First Day Hikes’ events.

After organizers witnessed a large turn-out for the event hosted on New Year’s Day, the idea emerged for it to continue.

Now, ‘First Day Hikes’ are set to be hosted on the first day of every month at select parks.

The hikes are guided by a ranger and are free to the public with park admission.

February’s hike was hosted at the Myrtle Beach State Park and took place along the Sculpted Nature Trail and the beach.

On the first day of March the hiking event will also be held at the Myrtle Beach State Park.
