One Injured In Crash Involving Vehicle Fire
The driver of the car was lying near the vehicle and crews moved him away from the flames that were later extinguished.
A crash that resulted in a vehicle fire left one person injured.
Shortly after 4am Sunday, North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue crews responded to a wooded area off the Highway 17 North exit ramp from Sea Mountain Highway on reports of a car overturned and on fire.
The driver of the car was lying near the vehicle and crews moved him away from the flames that were later extinguished.
There were no other people involved in the crash.
The driver was taken to a hospital for further evaluation of their injuries.
Units then worked to remove the car from the woods.
Horry County Fire Rescue and North Myrtle Beach Police also responded to the scene.
