A jury has ordered Donald Trump to pay millions in a sexual assault and defamation verdict.

The jury awarded $83.3 million to E. Jean Carroll for Trump’s continued social media attacks against the columnist over her claims that he sexually assaulted her in a department store dressing room in 1996.

The former president has vowed to appeal the decision and claimed it is “Absolutely ridiculous!” and “Our legal system is out of control, and being used as a political weapon.”

The trial reached its conclusion as Trump marches toward winning the Republican presidential nomination for a third consecutive time.
