Trump Won The New Hampshire Primary
Nikki Haley vowed to remain in the Republican race stating she will now focus on the February 24th primary voting in her home state of South Carolina.
Donald Trump advanced toward winning a third consecutive Republican presidential nomination Tuesday.
The former president won the New Hampshire primary in a one-on-one match-up with his last challenger standing, Nikki Haley. The former S.C. governor vowed to remain in the Republican race stating she will now focus on the February 24th primary voting in her home state of South Carolina.
In her speech, Haley said, “New Hampshire is first in the Nation. It is not the last in the Nation. This race is far from over. There are dozens of states left to go.”
In Trump’s celebratory remarks for his second primary win, he mocked Haley calling her an imposter while appearing to seem annoyed that she has not dropped out of the race yet.
The next contest is set to be held in Nevada on February 8th.
