Second Arrest Made In Connection To A Fatal Shooting Incident In Georgetown

A fight between some patrons led to shots being fired in the parking lot by multiple gunmen. 22-year-old Iyanla Walker was struck and killed.

A second arrest has been made in connection to a fatal shooting.

The incident took place in December at an illegally operated bar in Georgetown dubbed ‘The Hush Lounge.’

Witnesses identified 22-year-old Joshua Drayton as one of the shooters. He has been charged with breach of peace and aggravated in nature. However, deputies are still working to find the shooter who fired the fatal shot.

In addition, the illegal bar was shut down and owner, 39-year-old Ronnel Rice was also arrested and charged.

An investigation is still underway and anyone with information is urged to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.
