Over Half-A-Million Beds Sold Nationwide Placed Under Recall

Consumers should stop using the beds immediately and contact Home Design Inc. for a free replacement of its slats and side rails.

Over half-a-million beds sold at retailers including Walmart and Wayfair are under recall.

The recall covers several different models and sizes of upholstered low profile standard and platform beds from Home Design Inc..

The Indiana-based furniture wholesaler says it has received 128 reports of these beds “breaking, sagging or collapsing” when used, including 36 unspecified injuries to date.

The products were sold between July of 2018 and November of last year.

Consumers should stop using the beds immediately and contact Home Design Inc. for a free replacement of its slats and side rails.
