Timmonsville Police Officer Placed On Administrative Leave After DUI Arrest
Timmonsville Police Chief James Allen shared that Bostick was involved in this incident while off-duty and it did not involve any town equipment.
A Timmonsville police officer has been placed on administrative leave.
33-year-old Justin Bostick was charged on Sunday with a DUI. He was released the same afternoon on an over $2,200 bond.
Bostick has been with the Timmonsville Police Department since January of 2022. Before that he was with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office from 2015 to 2021, until he was fired for quote “violation of agency policy.” He allegedly drank alcohol while operating a county vehicle.
Timmonsville Police Chief James Allen shared that Bostick was involved in this incident while off-duty and it did not involve any town equipment. The department is dealing with it as a personnel matter and he has been placed on administrative leave but not fired at this time.
