Ocean Boulevard Hotel Evacuated Due To Heavy Smoke Conditions
One person was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation but no other injuries or issues were reported.
A hotel in Myrtle Beach was evacuated after a fire broke out on the third floor.
Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue responded to the Boardwalk Beach Resort located in the 2300 block of N. Ocean Boulevard.
Crews were able to contain the fire to the room of origin. However, everyone was forced to exit the structure due to heavy smoke conditions.

It is unclear how long until guests will be allowed to return to the building.
An investigation has been opened.
