Ford Recalls Nearly 113,000 F-150 Pickup Trucks

The recall covers F-150 pickup trucks with model years 2021 through 2023 that are equipped with 'The Trailer Tow Max Duty' package.

Ford has issued a recall on nearly 113,000 vehicles.

The recall covers F-150 pickup trucks with model years 2021 through 2023 that are equipped with ‘The Trailer Tow Max Duty’ package.

The rear axle hub bolt could burn out or break which could result in damage to the axle hub splines. In result of the damage, the vehicle poses risks of rolling away when in park without the parking brake applied or the vehicle could lose power all together.

A permanent repair is currently in the works but for now, F-150 owners can take their truck to a dealership for a temporary fix if you hear clicking or rattling noises associated with the rear axle bolt.
