6-Year-Old Donates Nearly 1000 Teddy Bears To MUSC Children’s Hospital

We have an update on story from earlier this month. A 6-year-old in North Myrtle Beach succeeded in a holiday mission this season.

Gianna Westerfield was inspired by a video she viewed on social media to collect teddy bears and donate them to the MUSC Children’s Hospital.

She teamed up with several Grand Strand businesses for ‘Gianna’s Wish’ and they served as drop-off locations.

Thanks to those businesses and the community, Gianna collected nearly 1000 teddy bears for the hospital.
