Winter Wonderland At The Beach Reopens After Assessing Storm Damage

The seahorse sleigh and holiday boat near Plyer Park were damaged and are expected to be replaced on Wednesday.

One festive event has reopened after the weekend storm prompted it to close.

Myrtle Beach’s Winter Wonderland at the Beach light display is back.

The city announced it reopened Tuesday night.

Officials said some lights are still off due to water damage but most of them are on from Second to Eighth Avenues North.

The seahorse sleigh and holiday boat near Plyer Park were damaged and are expected to be replaced on Wednesday.

The lights will be on every night from 5-9pm until January 1st.
