Carnival Cruise Ship Rescues Stranded Men From Ocean

The Carnival team spotted the six men on a life raft stranded in the middle of the ocean near the Dominican Republic.

Carnival Vista crew members rescued six people this morning after a small cargo boat capsized overnight.

The Carnival team spotted the six men on a life raft stranded in the middle of the ocean near the Dominican Republic.

After bringing them aboard, the Carnival crew was informed of additional missing people from the small vessel which prompted them to alert the Coast Guard, who after a brief search, successfully rescued six additional people.

The cruise ship was advised to return to its route and an investigation was opened into the capsized vessel.
