Missing Darlington Man’s Death Ruled As A Homicide

The death of a missing Darlington County man has been ruled a homicide.

20-year-old Tavaris Dolford was reported missing last Thursday. On Saturday, his body was found in a parked car along Dutch Lane near Lee County.

An autopsy revealed Dolford died from a gunshot wound to the head. It is undetermined the range from which he was shot and many other details remain limited at this time.

Many agencies across both Lee and Darlington County are still investigating.
