Chrysler Issues Recall On Over 142,000 Vehicles

Owners can take their vehicle to Chrysler dealerships who will inspect and replace the steering column control module free of charge if deemed necessary.

Chrysler has placed a recall on over 142,000 vehicles.

The recall covers the 2023 Ram 1500 Classic, Ram 3500 Classic, 3500 Cab Chassi as well as the 2023-2024 Ram 2500, 4500 and 5500 Cab Chassi along with Ram 3500 vehicles.

The steering column control module may cause the high beams to activate when the turn signal is used, or it may activate the turn signal when the high beams are in use. The turn signal self-canceling feature may also not function properly.

Owners can take their vehicle to Chrysler dealerships who will inspect and replace the steering column control module free of charge if deemed necessary.
