The sequel to a cult classic has recruited music legends. “This is Spinal Tap,” will begin production early next year with some icons on board. During an interview on comedian Richard Herring’s podcast, Rob Reiner, who directed and starred in the original, revealed that Sir Paul McCartney, Elton John and Garth Brooks will make cameos in the follow-up to the music mockumentary. Reiner and the original cast will also reprise their roles. Cameras start rolling in late February.
