Robeson County Police Search For Wanted Man

The suspect is wanted for first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection to a fatal shooting.

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in capturing a wanted man.

Around 11:20pm on Saturday night, police were called to 502 Edward Circle in the Lumberton area. Upon arrival, 42-year-old Michael Hathway was found dead at the scene after he was shot.

28-year-old Tyler Hunt is wanted for first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection to Hathway’s death.
