The Manhunt For A Registered Sex Offender Has Ended

The week-long manhunt for a registered sex offender in Georgetown County is over.
The South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services was searching for Jonathan Singleton after he allegedly violated his parole and cut off his ankle monitor.
When police attempted to arrest him for breaking parole, he fled.
The search started in a wooded area off Choppee Road near Saluda Drive and continued throughout the week with the assistance of a bloodhound unit.
On Monday, Singleton turned himself into authorities. He is now being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
