The U.S. Conducted Strikes In Syria Again

The U.S. has conducted strikes in Syria again.

This marks the third round of retaliation. The operation was in response to what the Pentagon has referred to as Iran-linked attacks that have left dozens of American troops injured.

The U.S. military said the strikes are part of a bigger strategy of assuring consequences in attempt to warn others to refrain from escalating conflict in the Middle East, where Israel and Hamas are currently at war.

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said, “The president has no higher priority than the safety of U.S. personnel, and he directed the strikes to make clear that the U.S. will defend itself, its personnel, and its interests.”
