Kingstree Police Seek Information In Regards To A Pharmacy Burglary
Six suspects were wearing masks and gloves and were captured on security footage using a large potted plant to break out the pharmacy's drive-thru window.
The Kingstree Police Department has opened an investigation into a burglary incident that occurred Monday morning.
The incident happened around 3:42a.m. at the Williamsburg Pharmacy located at 411 Thurgood Marshal Highway in Kingstree.
Six suspects were wearing masks and gloves and were captured on security footage using a large potted plant to break out the pharmacy’s drive-thru window. The suspects then allegedly entered the establishment and stole an abundance of prescription narcotics.
Prescription drugs from a separate burglary at a Bishopville Pharmacy were found left behind by the suspects. Video surveillance also shows them dumping a bag of medication behind their vehicle.
