One Man Arrested In Connection To Fatal Hit And Run Incident
A pedestrian was walking along north US-17 and SC-22 near North Myrtle Beach when she was struck by a vehicle.
An arrest has been made in connection to a fatal hit and run investigation.
On Saturday around 2a.m., 59-year-old Theresa Brown was walking along north US-17 and SC-22 near North Myrtle Beach when she was struck by a vehicle. Brown died on the scene as a result of injuries sustained during the incident.
On Sunday morning, the South Carolina Highway Patrol arrested 40-year-old Christopher Florence. He is charged with a hit-and-run, duties of a driver involved in an incident with death or personal injury.
Florence is being held at the Horry County Detention Center and bail has not been set.
