Myrtle Beach Police Investigate Homicide Case After Assault Victim Dies

Myrtle Beach Police are investigating a fatal incident as a homicide.

On October 11th around 4a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Nance Street, in regards to an assault. 59-year-old Starlet Jackson was found with a laceration on the right side of her face after what was described as a ‘brutal attack’. She was transported to a hospital where she later died.
