Another 6.3 Magnitude Quake Struck Afghanistan
Four people have been confirmed dead and 153 are injured.
Another 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck part of Western Afghanistan.
This quake comes just a week after a separate 6.3 magnitude quake struck 25 miles west of Herat city in which 11 villages were completely destroyed resulting in the deaths of 2,445 people and 2,440 people were wounded.
The latest quake was center around 19 miles outside the city of Herat. Four people have been confirmed dead and 153 are injured. Several villages have been destroyed and everything in the Baloch Area of Rabat Sangi District has collapsed.
Earthquakes are common in Afghanistan where there are a number of fault lines and frequent movement among three nearby tectonic plates.
