The UAW Strike Against The Big Three Expands

The United Auto Workers strike has expanded.

Wednesday night, the union called on 8,700 workers to strike at the Kentucky Truck Plant, which builds some of Ford’s most important vehicles, including the heavy duty version of its F series pickup, as well as its full-size SUVs.

UAW President Shawn Fain said the union has been very clear and they have waited long enough, but ford seems to not get the message. He added that it is time for a fair contract at Ford and the rest of the big three. They will continue to strike until an agreement can be reached.
