Parents Advised To Delete Their Kids’ Social Media Apps Due To Hamas Threats
The advisory comes as Hamas militants threaten to broadcast or post disturbing videos of hostages who have been captured in recent days.
Some schools are advising parents to delete their kids’ social media apps amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
The advisory comes as Hamas militants threaten to broadcast or post disturbing videos of hostages who have been captured in recent days. Hamas has also warned that it will go as far as posting murders of captives if Israel targets people in Gaza without warning.
There are additional concerns that terrorists will exploit social media algorithms to specifically target such videos to followers of Jewish or Israeli influencers in effort to “wage psychological warfare” on Israelis, Jews and their supporters globally.
It was said that it is difficult and near impossible to contain all the content on social media, therefore parents are advised to simply delete their children’s apps in an attempt to keep them from witnessing the content that Hamas is threatening to share worldwide.
