Is “Anti-Ghosting” the New Way to Break Up with Someone?
So, what is it?
You’ve heard of “ghosting” someone, where you disappear and stop responding to texts. Well, the HuffPost just did a big article on something called “anti-ghosting.” So, what is it? Literally just breaking it off with someone the normal way. It’s having the maturity to be up front about your feelings as opposed to vanishing in a ghost-like fashion. Here’s an example they gave: you might text the person and say, “Hey, thanks for meeting up last night. You seem chill, but we’re looking for different things.” Or you could say, “Last night was fun, I just think we have more of a friend vibe.” Anti-ghosting is a better way to break things off.
