Two Men Arrested In Connection To A Residential Burglary

Two suspects were later caught on video surveillance at a nearby pawn shop attempting to sell the stolen items that same day.

Two men have been arrested in connection to a residential burglary that occurred in Marlboro County.

On August 14th, officers responded to a residence on Seminole Circle in the Bennettsville area in reference to a possible burglary. When they arrived, officers spoke with the homeowner and were advised that the burglary occurred when the homeowner was at work.

It was revealed that jewelry was taken from the home. Two suspects were later caught on video surveillance at a nearby pawn shop attempting to sell the stolen items that same day.

18-year-olds Brian Simmons and Dorien Easterling were both arrested and charged with receiving and/or possession of stolen property.
